Safeguarding (SAFE) Training
This course aims to raise the awareness of adults in Scouting of their role when working with young people. It is suitable both to introduce adults in Scouting to the Young People First programme; or for those who have already successfully completed it.
This is a course that fulfills the requirements of adults undertaking “approved safeguarding training” at least every 5 years. Whilst e-learning is available, it is considered best practice to attend a face to face course. If you have completed online training for one appointment review then attendance at face to face training is compulsory at your next appointment review.
Time: Registration is at 7.15pm. Refreshments will be available at that time. The course will start at 7.30 pm.
Venue: Training will be held at 4th Sevenoaks HQ, Mill Lane, Sevenoaks, TN14 5BU
Dress code: Any clothing that you are comfortable in.
Bring: A notepad and pen
Refreshments: Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Course delivered by: Angela Rainey
